We all know that Florida is swamped with Spring Breakers this time of the year, but it can also be a great time for your family to take a break as well! Ignore the throngs of crazy collegiates, grab a , and check out this open just in time for spring, as well as other Orlando fun that’s sure to please the whole family.
There’s Sea World’s new park, , the new Simpsons ride at Universal Studios, Busch Gardens Africa, and the continuation of Disney’s Year of a Million Dreams. Plenty of your favorite attractions are having special spring events, including “Hippity Hop Adventure” at the Central Florida Zoo, great shows at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, and NBA playoff battles at the Amway Arena.

In addition to your for the whole family, you may want some more fun ideas for your vacation to Orlando.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau of Orlando has put together a list of for everyone that visits the city! Even if you’ve been to Orlando several times or even live there, there’s plenty on the list that even locals wouldn’t think of.
You can meet King Louie, sample over 150 wines, test new toys, learn about the art of glassblowing, and even touch a stingray. The list has something for everyone, no matter what your interests are.

To those who can’t bear to travel without constant access to their laptop and BlackBerry, Orlando may be the perfect place to visit. Forbes’ list of lists Orlando as #2 (after Atlanta, Georgia). The city ranked high for the number of companies providing high-speed internet access and its high rate of broadband adoption. If that doesn’t give you enough reason to visit Orlando, then maybe the warm weather and fun activities will do the trick.

WonderWorks will celebrate its’ 10th anniversary in Orlando on Tuesday, March 4. All month long, visitors will be eligible to win their share of $10,000 in prizes. Florida Residents receive a rate of $10.00 ( +tax) per person for WonderWorks general admission after 1:00PM on March 4th ONLY. (Of course, Go Orlando Card users get included admission daily, so visitors needn’t feel left out.)
This interactive theme park for the mind features an earthquake simulator, you can attempt to land the Space Shuttle or play one of the many virtual sports. There is a “bubble lab” for the kids or try you hand at some Lazer tag. WonderWorks is also home to the Outta Control Magic and Comedy Show featuring unlimited pizza, salad, beer, wine, soda and popcorn. The show runs twice nightly at 6 and 8pm.
You can’t miss this place-it’s the giant white upside down building on International Drive near the Orlando County Convention Center and next to Pointe Orlando.

As if the warm weather and amazing theme parks weren’t enticing enough, The Orlando Visitors Bureau put together a list of .
Included on the list are thrills such as rollercoaster rides, swimming with Beluga whales, fireworks every night, and rooting for the Orlando Magic NBA team.

, formerly the Bay Hill Invitational, is only 25 days away and will be played at the Bay Hill Club in Orlando Florida. The tournament will take place March 10th -16th with the Pro-Am on Wednesday and then competition Thursday through Sunday.
The tournament, one of the premiere events on the PGA Tour, annually attracts one of the strongest fields of the season to one of the circuit’s finest courses with the entire production overseen and directed by one of the game’s all-time greats - Arnold Palmer.
Vijay Singh won the 2007 tournament and this year’s field is highlighted by Sergio Garcia, Retief Goosen, Jim Furyk as well as locals Robert Gamez and Chris DiMarco.
If you are in town for this great event and looking of other things nearby to do, which offers free unlimited admission to area attractions.

The first full-sized theme park to open in Orlando since 2000 is coming this March!
, by Sea World, is a 59-acre “South Pacific” themed park with pools, animal shows, slides, and an 80,000 square foot beach. In addition, it will also boast of many new restaurants and shopping destinations.
The grand opening is scheduled in early April, but the month of March is full of special pre-opening events to entice visitors to check out the new park.

For a relaxing day outside with the kids or with the family pet, head over to .
Nestled in the heart of downtown Orlando, it’s a favorite local spot to appreciate the outdoors. There’s a sidewalk circling the lake, which is about a mile in length, that’s perfect for runners and walkers.
If you’re more into boating, there’s even swan-shaped paddleboats and electric gondolas for rental. You can definitely make a day out of your visit by bringing a picnic lunch or dinner, with extra bread to feed the birds that flock around you.
